Hinduism, as most people already know is world’s oldest religion with its roots going back to approx. 5000+ years. Its comprises of multiple philosophies that come from most ancient written literature of the World in form of Vedas, Puranas, Upnishads, Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta and Mahakavyas like Mahabharat and Ramayan. These books not just give the religious messages and learning but also teach a way of thinking and living that is so supreme that its bliss cannot be defined in words.
Just by studying and practicing Shri Geetaji alone a person can free himself from all kinds of attachments and mental burdens whereas by attaining the knowledge of Ramayana one gets to learn about the highest virtues possessed by Lord Ram, Devi Sita and Lord Hanuman. In the process, one slowly gets close to the deities and develops a sacred bond with them and deities respond by showering countless blessings in return. Our endeavor through ‘Insights of Hinduism’ is to share the knowledge and stories from our religious texts in simple yet interesting way and explain Hinduism authentically which is originally written in Sanskrit Language in our revered ancient Hindu texts.
Another objective of the blog is to share the spiritual dimensions, unheard history and religious secrets of thousands and thousands of Hindu temples in India. People, specially youngsters of this digital age are mostly unaware of this treasure mostly because it is hidden in those heavy Sanskrit texts which despite being available in Hindi/ English translations are somehow difficult to understand in one go and have not been shared/popularized enough to have their reach, specially amongst the new generation.
